Sooo, in a few hours I’m gonna catch a flight to my adopted motherland (aka UK). For those who don’t know me, I spent my last year in Birmingham as an Erasmus student, and since I’ve still a few friends there I’m gonna visit them. I’ll be in Birmingham till Saturday then I’ll spend a couple of days in London visiting some other friends, shopping in cute vintage markets, going to galleries I haven’t been yet and trying to stalk Dan Stevens around the tube. Just kidding. Not really.
Since I won’t have the chance to watch my tv shows this week (no, my friends don’t have a telly. YEAH, IK.), I’ll avoid tumblr as if it was plague.
I still have to finish packing, but meanwhile, I just want you all to know that
1. I like too many things and get all confused and hung-up running from one falling star to another till I drop. This is the night, what it does to you. I had nothing to offer anybody except my own confusion. ~ Jack Kerouac (On the road) 2. Gatsby believed in the green light, the orgastic future that year by year recedes before us. It eluded us then, but that’s no matter — tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms farther…. And one fine morning — ~ Francis Scott Fitzgerald (The Great Gatsby) 3. Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubts. ~ Abraham Lincoln 4. I do not want people to be very agreeable, as it saves me the trouble of liking them a great deal. ~ Jane Austen 5. All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others. ~ George Orwell (Animal Farm)
